I was one of those kids who didn't understand the importance of embracing the experience, not just the result. Maybe it was the gymnast in me, searching for perfection. But now that I can find joy in the journey (when I remind myself), it's SO important for me to share it with the kids I touch.

Learn the B.A.S.I.C.S. of Insight Meditation
I love the part about the Sacred. Yoga and mindfulness are NOT a religion. But they DO promote and support the values of kindness, compassion, ethics, and integrity. I like the way they describe this distinction.
