A great article on ways to be kind to ourselves. Showing self compassion helps us be more calm and present with our students. It also sets a standard for your class/school--mistakes happen, we learn from and forgive ourselves for them, and then we try again--promoting resilience.

The Art of Creating Space & the Magic of Pretend
I was one of those kids who didn't understand the importance of embracing the experience, not just the result. Maybe it was the gymnast in me, searching for perfection. But now that I can find joy in the journey (when I remind myself), it's SO important for me to share it with the kids I touch.
