I've struggled with resilience (or the lack thereof) since I was a young girl. I remember being that kid sobbing in the corner, inconsolable when things didn't go the way I thought they should. 

Even as an adult, I remember feeling defined by big life losses--the untimely death of my sister, divorce, the pandemic. It wasn't until I began to learn to forgive myself, and find things to be grateful for in ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. Even if I can't see the positives right away, I know they will reveal themselves with time and patience.
